Scoil Naithí in Ballinteer, south Couty Dublin, was badly damaged in a fire overnight. Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade fought the fire for more than three hours. There were no injuries reported.
The school has texted parents to advise them that the school would be closed today (mon 23/1/17) and that further updates would be provided later in the day.
The Irish Times reports that the fire broke out in the office of the school building but the cause and extent of the damage is unknown.
