For nine years the RDS, with BT ran the RDS Primary Science Fair which inspired entire classrooms around the country with the incredible wonders of STEM. The Dublin Fair took place alongside the BTYSTE each January. RDS Science Blast is now being launched as a new standalone event. RDS Science Blast is a non-competitive programme for primary schools that involves the whole class investigating the science behind a simple question and then showcase their work at a national event.www.rds.ie/primarysciencefair

Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language Week) is an international Irish language festival and one of the biggest celebrations of our native language and culture that takes place each year in Ireland and in many other countries. Seachtain Na Gaeilge takes place in March this year, from the 1st of to the 17th. The festival gives an opportunity to everyone to enjoy Irish, whether you are a fluent speaker, learner or have a cúpla focal, with a calendar of entertaining and fun events for every type of interest and every age group.
