Leaving Cert Results in schools. Available on examinations.ie from 10am - Pre-Registration required to access this service.


Grades available - students can access grades of individual components of papers on examinations.ie from 10AM.

Round One CAO offers - online from 2pm offers sent by e-mail & SMS text. No postal offers - Acceptance closing date 23rd Aug @ 17.15. See CAO.ie.

The National Parents Council Post Primary
In association with the Irish Independent, the IGC, Eircom and supported by the Dept. of Ed, the NPCPP run a Helpline every year for Students, Parents and advisors . The HelpLine: 1800 265 165 will open
 Tuesday 13th & Wednesday 14th 10am – 7pm, Thursday 15th 1pm - 7pm, Friday 16th 8am - 7pm, Saturday 17th 9am - 1pm. 
A live online blog will be available on www.independent.ie/caolive on Tues 13th 9-4pm & Thurs 15th 1-7pm


Careers Portal
CareersPortal.ie has an online points calculator and a Mobile App which allows students to check what CAO Points they have achieved, based on their Leaving Cert results. Students also have quick and easy access to the CourseFinder+ on CareersPortal, which shows the latest available course points information and the points history for all Higher Education and CAO Courses, together with QQI links.


NUI Galway
NUI Galway has set up a designated hotline for First Year students to help ease the transition into third level education. The service will provide an efficient, responsive service to callers and will deal with numerous issues that are of concern to incoming First Year students, such as, start dates, fees, accommodation, registration etc.

The Helpline: +353 91 493 999 will be open from the 14th August to 27th September, Monday to Friday, 9am -1pm / 2-5pm. It will also be open on Saturday, 17th August and Saturday, 24th August, 9am to 1pm. Visit NUIG .


The Irish Times
Online Results Help Desk will be available from 9am on Tuesday, 13th August till 5pm Saturday 17th August at www.irishtimes.com. Their expert team of guidance counsellors will answer your results and offers queries when you submit them online.


UCC
UCC will be hosting a live online Q&A sessions for Leaving Certificate students this year. The Q&A session is aimed at those who have just received their Leaving Certificate results and will take place on Tuesday 13th August from10am-5pm. For more information, visit UCC.ie


UL Maths Exam Provides 2nd Chance for Students
The University of Limerick (UL) offer a special entrance maths exam for students who achieve sufficient CAO entry points and satisfy all other entrance requirements but did not achieve the requisite grade in Mathematics (Ordinary or Honours) to enter a science and engineering course.
