Well, I am just looking for a ball park figure and I would have no problem providing for the childs needs unless it was a sepcial dietary need then the parent would have to.

Hi,
I am a stay at home mother of two children under 3. I am considering taking in a child to mind on a full time basis. Say 5 days a week 8am - 7pm. My question is what would be a reasonable rate for me to quote. I have done childminding for many years from a teenager to the age of 26 but that was over 9 years ago and I am not sure of the rate now.

Also is there any laws I need to observe if I intend to mind them in my own home?

:)

À number of issues would have to be agreed. Would you provide all the food, for example, or does the parent want to provide it?
