PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH ASD - HAVE YOUR VOICES HEARD!

Research participants are needed for a study that looks at - Parent´s Perspective of Therapy Roles in Speech & Language Therapy with Children with ASD.

Are you the parent of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder? Is your child aged 5 to 18 years and in school? Are you waiting for or receiving Speech & Language Therapy? If so, you are invited to take part in a one off interview to share your experiences and opinions of speech & language therapy in Ireland.

SLT services are currently changing. How parents and others are involved in therapy is changing. What parents and others are asked to do as part of therapy is changing. This Trinity College Dublin associated study hopes to give parents a chance to let therapists know what they want from therapy and what the impact of being involved in therapy is for their family (positive and/ or negative).

For more information please contact Eibhlin Gorman (PhD Student and Speech & Language Therapist) at gormane@tcd.ie or private message the ASD Ireland Parent Research Page on Facebook or alternatively phone 087-2807-444
