Child Minder Required 28/02/2023 11:53 - Dublin South Childminders (Locality: Dublin South) ----------------------------------- We are a family living in The Park in Cabinteely who are looking for a kind and caring Child minder for our son, Oisín (5 years old), who is Autistic. We require someone for term time only.
Oisín Attends ‘The Meadows’ (an ASD unit of Our Lady of Good Counsel Primary School) in Johnstown, Cabinteely and is collected by bus each morning at 8.40am and returned by bus at approx. 1.40 pm. We require someone to help him get ready in the morning, have breakfast and then see him safely onto his transport. Returning in the afternoon for three days of the week, we require a minder to be in our home when the bus returns with him. We are an easy-going family with two older children (9 and 11- who we don’t require a minder for) and are looking for someone who is willing to engage in play in our home as well as outdoor activities/ playground etc. Own transport is desirable but not essential
Oisín is a very affectionate child and warms very well to people. He has been diagnosed with ASD and attends an ASD unit. He has specific needs but he is a fun loving, humorous child who is not difficult to get along with. We would require a potential childminder to meet and interact with him on several occasions before starting the position which would formally commence after the Easter Holidays.
