Hi there,

I´ll be looking for a childminder later in the year for a 7 month old. I´m new to the area and wondering what roughly is the going rate for full time care in minders own home (8am - 5.30pm Mon - fri). I´m petrified at the creche costs - they are 800 - 900 per month, same as my mortgage and we just cannot afford anything like that.

Can anyone give me a rough idea of what I would be expected to pay.
