Once you have gone through the book, had a bit of a ´talk´, then you have opened the door and hopefully taken the taboo away. Laughing is a completely normal reaction from children of that age. There is also a Busy Bodies DVD which is animated and pretty good. He may already have seen this.

I just wondered would anyone recommend an informative (perhaps)humorous book to explain the facts of life to a just 14 year old. When his father mentions a chat , its laughed off , we did get "what´s happening to me "and him and his dad read it now & again (heard lots of laughing coming from bedroom when this happened) the book has "disappeared"! he hasn´t expressed much interest yet (has friends that are girls).....any recommendations appreciated.
