emergent signs of Spring as part of their participation in Greenwave. Lever magnetism and biodiversity project displays from third fourth and fifth class
as well K-nex (creative construction toys) Maths games and Scratch programming
from fifth and sixth class pupils
Claire Melia DPSM
Coordinator at Drimnagh Castle Primary School said The DPSM programme
develops childrens confidence and enthusiasm for science and maths as concepts
are broken down into manageable activities that facilitate learning in an
enjoyable manner. Over the last number of years the Award of Science and Maths
Excellence has given us something to work towards as a school and there is a
real sense of achievement in meeting the five criteria while also achieving
the objectives of the science and maths curriculum.
