Results Availability & Access
#1 Leaving Cert results will be available at 9am Monday 7th September through the
Candidate Self Service Portal. On accessing the Self Service Portal, students should download and print their 'Statement of Provisional Results as no hard copy will be available through the schools this year.
#2 Students
cannot receive their results by visiting their school on the date of the results as in previous years. Schools have been advised to provide support to students in an appropriate way on the day, through enabling students to come to the school if they wish at a
scheduled time. however schools have been advised that
no discussions about schools’ estimated marks submitted as part of the Calculated Grades process."

#3 Leaving Cert Applied students will also be able to view their ‘Statement of Provisional Results’ online. This will show the credits you have achieved. The full ‘Report of Credits and Statement of Provisional Results’ will be issued to your school on 7 September and the school will contact you in relation to this.

CareersPortal.ie has an
online points calculator and a
Mobile App which allows students to check what
CAO Points they have achieved, based on their Leaving Cert results. Students also have quick and easy access to the
CourseFinder+ on CareersPortal, which shows the latest available course points information and the points history for all Higher Education and CAO Courses, together with QQI links.
UL Maths Exam Provides 2nd Chance for Students

The University of Limerick (UL) offer a special entrance maths exam for students who achieve sufficient CAO entry points and satisfy all other entrance requirements but did not achieve the requisite grade in Mathematics (Ordinary or Honours) to enter a science and engineering course.
