Hi Everyone,

My name is Emma, I´m a general member of the Kodály Society of Ireland, a completely voluntary organisation who aim to promote the Kodály method in Ireland.

The Kodály method is a teaching method for music - but we´ve found that as musicians, conductors, students, parents, singers, beginners, improvers - everything!- the Kodály method has helped many people improve musicianship skills (or even, gain new skills) through this hungarian method of teaching.

We run courses and workshops throughout the year designed to support teachers, parents, students and any practitioners of music. We´ve been very highly praised by our participants and we hope that our small community will continue to grow. We are delighted to have a presence on Schooldays.ie and we hope to speak with many of you in the future!

At the moment our courses have mostly run in Dublin, but we very much hope to run them all over the country as demand grows.

If you´d like some more information about us, feel free to check us out at www.kodályireland.com - we hope to open a resources section on the website soon.

Take care everyone,

Emma
