Private Messaging & Avators now available 06/11/2008 11:44 - Announcements ----------------------------------- Great news! Private Messaging & Avators are now available on Schooldays.ie on our discussion forums.
Private messages allow you to avoid posting email addresses in the forum. Internet pages are constantly scanned and email addresses then become targets for spam. If someone wants to contact you they can use the private messaging facility. All personal information (telephone no etc) should be communicated by PM. Private messages are PRIVATE - do not publish private messages on the forum. If you send someone a private message through our boards, the person will receive an email notifying them to visit schooldays.ie to read their messages.
The avatar facility allows you to upload and display a jpeg or gif image which you want to use to represent your profile - like the chick one which displays along side this post for schooldays.ie. When you first register as a user you will be given the opportunity to attach an avatar image when registering. For those of you already registered with us, simply log in and click on the ´Edit Profile´ option which appears above the pencil. You then then add your avatar or at any stage delete an avatar and add a new you.

You can either add to the thread saying that you are no longer available e.g. childcare services, or email us (info@schooldays.ie) the details and we will remove it for you.
