Imaginosity is honoured to have recently received official recognition as a ‘Discover Science Centre’ by the Discover Primary Science and Maths Foundation. Imaginosity places an importance and emphasis on science and engineering, discovery and learning, through its varied interactive and educational daily programme of events and activities; hosted for both primary school and general public audiences.

Imaginosity, Dublin Children’s Museum was delighted to welcome Sean Sherlock TD, Minister for State for Research and Innovation today to launch its ‘Everyday Chemistry’ Programme.
Minister Sherlock met with the 1st Class Pupils of St Raphaela’s School, Stillorgan, as they took part in an ‘Amazing Gloop’ table top experiment, exploring the properties of solids, liquids and gases.
‘I have been very impressed with my visit to Imaginosity, Dublin Children’s Museum. The museum provides a valuable and dynamic educational resource that is essential to promoting early exposure to the wonder of science for children," Minister Sherlock said following his visit.
Jenny Bohan, General Manager of Imaginosity spoke of her appreciation of this official visit: “ It was wonderful that Minister Sherlock came to Imaginosity and that he spoke in such an inspirational and encouraging way to the young scientists of the future. In doing so, he has shown his support for young children’s learning, particularly in the area of science and engineering; with a particular eye to the future of research and innovation in this country.”
Imaginosity’s Science and Engineering Programme (2011 – 2013) is kindly sponsored by Audi.
